My name is Katharine Van Guilder and I am a cabinet designer. I began working in the cabinet-design business during and after college, from which I received a BS Degree in Engineering Physics. I first began with a construction company that had two separate sub-companies. One was for full home construction design and the other was for cabinetry design. From there I decided to narrow my focus on just cabinetry design. This can include kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, entertainment centers, etc. Ever since I started in this industry I have been highly-motivated to learn as many techniques, programs, and skills as possible. It remains my goal to increase my efficiency, skills, and creativity in order to produce high-quality results that are pleasing to my clients.

I offer fast turnaround times on each project, without sacrificing any quality in the designs I produce. I treat every client with the same attention-to-detail service, as if I was designing my own project. I am willing to go above-and-beyond expectations to try to ensure that all projects are completed with excellence, and by their deadlines. I am extremely thorough and organized in my process, and I will verify that all designs will be installed correctly, within the unique variables of the site layout, appliances, cabinet materials, and any obstacles that might arise. My goal is complete client satisfaction and I will put in any amount of time to insure that ideal.

I have excelled in mastering 2020 Design. I am highly proficient with Wellborn, Woodmode, Brookhaven and Homestead cabinetry. I am also proficient with Dewils, Decora, and Kountry Kraft. I can transition into any cabinet line that a client may be currently working with or preferring. I welcome all ideas and input from clients!
